The Language Group Summer Camps

The Language Group will offer a week-long Reading and Writing Intensive for rising 2nd and 3rd grade students (June 5-10, 2017 from 9:00-1:00).

The Intensive will be taught by licensed and experienced Speech Language Pathologists, and will focus on reading, spelling, writing, and phonological awareness skills. Methods utilized will include Orton-Gillingham methods (Barton and Wilson), Lindamood-Bell programs (Visualizing and Verbalizing, Seeing Stars) , Handwriting Without Tears, and others.

Accelerated Learning Summer Intensive

Our 2017 half-day summer session provides intensive, brain-based programs proven to help a child’s ability to learn. Fast ForWord strengthens memory, language, attention, processing and sequencing. Interactive Metronome strengthens mental processing, attention, reading and math fluency skills. The Listening Program features psycho-acoustic music to enhance learning and organizing. On Fantastic Fridays we have a fun outing. 9 students per session, Camper/Staff ratio 2:1

Ladder Learning Summer Programs

Ladder Learning offers affordable lesson packages for 1:1 or small-group tutoring at your home or our offices (I-85 and Chamblee-Tucker Rd). Our Literacy and Math specialists are trained in several programs for dyslexia: Orton-Gillingham, Handwriting Without Tears, the Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verablizing program, and other multisensory programs for reading, math, and writing skills.
